How to Set Up ShoppingCouple in 2 Minutes
Setting up ShoppingCouple takes less time than deciding what's for dinner. Here's everything you need to do.
Step 1: Download the app
ShoppingCouple is free on both iOS and Android. Search "ShoppingCouple" in the App Store or Google Play, or visit shoppingcouple.com for direct links.
Step 2: Create your account
Sign up with your email or Google account. That's it — no lengthy profile, no onboarding quiz, no "tell us about your household size."
Step 3: Create your first list
Tap "New List" and name it whatever you want — "Groceries," "Costco Run," "Stuff We Keep Forgetting." You can have multiple lists organized by store or occasion.
Step 4: Invite your partner
This is the important one. Tap the share icon on your list to generate an invite code. Send it to your partner via text, WhatsApp, email — whatever you use. They download the app, enter the code, and you're paired. From this moment on, everything syncs in real time.
Step 5: Start adding items
You can add items three ways. Type them manually. Use voice-to-list by tapping the microphone and saying what you need. Or use recipe scanning — tap the camera icon, photograph any recipe, and every ingredient gets added to your list automatically.
Step 6: Shop
Open the list in the store. Items are auto-sorted for an efficient trip. Check things off as you go — your partner sees every checkmark in real time, whether they're in the next aisle or on the couch at home.
That's it
No tutorials. No settings to configure. No "sync your accounts" dance. Two people, one shared list, instant sync.
We timed ourselves: under two minutes from download to first shared item.
Download ShoppingCouple free on iOS and Android. One shared shopping list. Zero misunderstandings.
